Texas!
So we found out last week that Nick got accepted for the internship at USAA! We will be moving to San Antonio sometime between Christmas and January 12th. We are very excited but also getting pretty stressed out about the move. We have no details yet about the moving service that they provide, where we will move to or how we will get rid of our apartment here in Rexburg. Also, we are leaving next Wednesday for Vancouver and will be there for the rest of December. I am very excited to visit home and go to the weddings so hopefully that will distract me a little! I can't wait to move somewhere it doesn't snow!!

Florence's
Friday night we toured Florence's where they make the most amazing chocolate. It is located here in Rexburg and they have a cute little store that my grandma just loved. We were able to see how the chocolate was made and packaged and shipped all around the world.
Grandma, Grandpa and Clyde just loved how the store was decorated. Here they are in front of the mountain next to the little village.

Grandpa was very excited about the tour and the chocolate. He bought Grandma and Clyde two pounds! Here he is picking out which ones he would like.

West Yellowstone
Grizzly Bear Discovery Center in West Yellowstone.

They had Wolves and Bears to look at outside and exhibits inside about keeping them safe and keeping yourself safe from them. They have rescued all these animals from Yellowstone Park.

This is in front of the bear exhibit. This bear was continually sniffing the air and so he was posed perfectly for our picture.

As you can see from this picture, it was absolutely freezing outside. There was snow and ice where they had not cleared it off yet. If you can tell from Nick's jacket, we were not expecting to spend time outside today, especially at seven thousand feet elevation during winter.

Me and Grandpa with the bears. At this point I could not feel my hands or my face so I am glad to see that I was actually smiling for the picture.

Me, Grandma and another bear!
These bears were wrestling. It was very entertaining to watch. I tried to get a good picture but they kept moving!

My favorite place was the gift shop because it was nice and warm! Here is Grandpa trying on a Yellowstone hat and grandma in the background approving of the new look!

Clyde and his big bear friend. He loves stuffed animals and was very excited to see this huge bear! Clyde said he thinks the picture looks like he is being hugged by the nice bear.

We then went to see the Yellowstone movie at the Yellowstone Imax Theater. It was a six story screen that made you feel like you were really there! The images of Yellowstone were beautiful and I decided that it was much better than the real thing because then you would not have to smell that nasty sulfur.
Idaho Falls
Here are some pictures of when we walked along the greenbelt in Idaho Falls on Wednesday. It was a very cold day but we still managed to get by without any snow!

This picture is of the Idaho Falls LDS Temple from across the river.
Can you tell they are excited to see the Falls?
Grandpa and Clyde looking out at the ducks swiming below the falls and the seagulls sitting on the edge of the falls.

Nick, Grandma, Grandpa and Clyde spotted some sort of bird, or a plane... or maybe I just told them to look up. Who knows..? Behind them is part of the falls and the LDS Stake Center.

Dad and Nick looking out a the Falls and avoiding a picture. It has been a long time since we have done anything worthy of picture taking so this week I have been a little picture happy and I guess they decided they were done for the day.
This is a picture of the falls a little farther down. Across the river is Historic Downtown I.F.

They have spotted something in the grass!

Like usual there were a million ducks around the greenbelt. Clyde had a great time making duck noises and trying to chase them away. After a while a few Canada Geese came to visit as well.

Mesa Falls
Today we went to Mesa Falls! It was really cold but the view was beautiful. We had a lot of fun getting here in the snow! Here are some pictures from today, enjoy!
This is the water flowing out of the falls down to Lower Mesa Falls. It looks so pretty with the snow and ice. It is very different in the summer.
Nick and I in front of Upper Mesa Falls. It was freezing outside so I wore his sweatshirt. I don't think I will give it back, it is very comfy!
So we saw this random guy trying to jump off the edge. Don't worry, we stopped him.....
....only to see him trying to jump from this ledge later on!

These are my grandparents, they are visiting from Vancouver for Thanksgiving along with my dad and my uncle Clyde. They made it to this lookout of Upper Mesa after a walk through the snow and down some slippery stairs.

Nick and my dad.

More Thanksgiving adventures to come!
This is Upper Mesa Falls. It is part of the Snake River. 114 feet high and 200 feet wide. 600-1,500 cubic feet of water per second flows over the falls. That is 387 million- 967 million gallons of water per day!

One Week!
One more week until my Thanksgiving break! I am very excited that Nick and I were both able to get the whole week off and some of my family is coming to visit. It will be the first time we have taken time off since April and it is long past due. Hopefully the snow will stay away a little longer and it will be nice weather so we can find some fun activities to do while we have company.
Nick got home from Texas on Thursday night so we are now just waiting to hear about the internship. He had a great time and really liked San Antonio. He said that USAA was huge, like 1/2 a mile long, and he felt like the interviews went well. Hopefully we will be able to hear before the December 5th date that he has been excepted, but if not then I guess we will have to be super movers and get everyhing ready in less than four days!
I can't wait to go home for Christmas break. I can't believe that this year has gone by so fast and we have barely visited home. Hopefully we will be able to eventually move back to the pacific northwest to be closer to family, but for now visits will have to do! For all of our friends back home we will have to work out our schedules and we will let you know what days we will spend in each town so we can try to meet up with everyone!

Vote!
I voted today! It was my first time voting at the polls. I usually get my absentee ballot in the mail but I had to register for Idaho because I had to have my drivers license changed and my name is different now. The lady at the box was weird because she had me state my name and then repeated my name and said I voted. It was funny, I had no idea they had to do that. I am excited to hear the results of the election!
So it is freezing outside! I can feel the winter coming and it is making me sad. I have checked the forecast and even though it might snow tonight and the tomorrow a little bit there is still sun coming so the snow will not stay around for too long. I am dreading the day it comes and doesn't go away. Maybe that can wait till January when I will hopefully be gone. It has actually been kind of rainy here which reminds me of home a little. I can't wait to visit in December!

Halloween
Here are our Halloween pumpkins! Mine is of Belle and Nick's is the Pirates of the Caribbean pirate skull. They took a long time because mine had so much cutting and nick's was mostly etched. Nick ended up finishing mine because I got frustrated with it and it actually turned out that you could see what it was supposed to be! I was excited because at first I made a lot of mistakes.
We are still waiting to find Nick the perfect internship so we can move out of Rexburg. He has a couple of leads that he is following and we will let everyone know as soon as we know about where we will be ending up. We are hoping to move at the end of December so we won't have to endure the entire winter in Rexburg. As for my job I am still doing PSR and am ready to quit whenever we move! I am looking at going back to school soon and am just trying to decide what degree I would like to get since there are many options and different directions for a masters in the psychology field. Thanksgiving is coming up and my dad, uncle, grandma and grandpa are coming to visit and I can't wait! We are also excited to visit home this December and attend my brother's wedding as well as Peggy's wedding! We will be staying for Christmas after that too! This holiday season is going to be crazy busy! That is pretty much all that is going on around here! PS. Peggy this post is for you so you don't have to look like a stalker anymore!
