My Grandma made this color blanket for Logan to learn his colors! He sits on the blanket and we point to the square and say the color. If he puts his hand on one we tell him what color it is. It is a fun game and he finds it pretty entertaining that he can get a reaction from us by touching the blanket.

Nick is playing with him here and, as you can see below, he has to cover the red square with his hand to get Logan to pay attention to any other color. He always goes for the red and if I ask him to point to red he grabs it. (He would probably grab it no matter what color I asked but if I just ask for red it makes him seem really smart!) Thanks Grandma Janet for the color blanket!

Since Logan loves his swing it is a great way for me to keep him still enough to take pictures of him. I came outside to find him in the swing with Nick cooking on the grill so I took a few pictures of all of the fun faces he was making.

Check out the hair!!! The back is becoming uncontrollable. Not just a little alfalfa anymore. The entire section sticks up and out. Then this day he slept on the front of his hair funny so it made a cute little wisp.

In the last couple of days Logan has finally decided it is worth his while to stand up. Previously he would lift his legs and refuse to even try but then he saw the xbox controller on the couch and decided to go for it. He crawled up the side of the couch and stood and since then he has been trying it whenever he finds something fun up high. Today he went to get this book and I caught a couple pictures!

He is starting to lean over.......

And he goes down!

I am really excited that he is standing and is getting more and more stability! I was hoping he would do it soon because I was worried he would be behind from the club feet issues and his funny toes. It is good to know that it won't hold him back. Then again, I am not too excited to have to continue baby proofing and would really like if he would stay in one place for longer than two seconds.
