Just writing to say sorry that I haven't been writing. One reason is that we haven't really done anything blog worthy lately. Nick started up at USAA and has been working for almost two weeks now. We have been hanging out with friends and relaxing. Nick has been on a pasta kick lately and has made raviolli and two different types of tortellini dishes that were pretty good! He definitely enjoys fresh pasta using the pasta maker. Unfortunately we have different tastes when it comes to the broth. It is a good thing we know how to make a good alfredo! Here is a pic of the chicken tortellini before they were cooked.
Another reason I haven't written is that my computer has been wiped clean for a fresh start and since Nick has not been feeling well lately it is taking a while to get it back to working order. I am not completely computer illiterate but since a lot of the driver discs are missing Nick decided he would take on the task of finding and downloading them all. Thanks Nick!
Lately we haven't been going out much but when we do get out we like to explore all the different restaurants around here. We went to a new one that we really like called Freebirds. It is similar to Chipotle but I like it because not everything is spicy! It is also really close to our house and pretty inexpensive. I can get three chicken hard tacos, chips, salsa and a drink for only six bucks! Did I mention that it tastes great too!
So I am really excited for my mom and sister to visit at the end of July! They have their plane tickets and I have already started planning all the fun activities we are going to do. I hope they are ready for the heat because it is already so humid and hot I can't imagine what July will be like. Here a few of the fun places we are going to visit:

and Rudy's Bar-B-Q,
just to name a few. I sure we will also be hanging out by the pool and possibly making a few crafts in my air conditioned apartment! I can't wait!

I can't wait!I am also excited for this weekend because we will be celebrating our third anniversary! It is an odd year (2009) so Nick is in charge of the planning. He insists that we have the day activities on Saturday and then dinner on our actual anniversary which is Monday. I can't wait to see what he has planned!
