Time Flies

So I am finally getting caught up on last week! Monday we had our anniversary dinner and then as a present for Nick for our anniversary I got him tickets to see the new Star Trek in the IMAX theater at the Palladium. The movie was actually good which suprised me. I have spent most of my life trying very hard to not have to watch a Star Trek movie but for Nick I went and it kept my attention so I guess it was a success. It was fun to see it on the IMAX screen and I think that we will always go there to see any other action movies because it makes them so much better.
Thursday I went to Pass the Plate (a relief society activity for my ward) and learned how to make some really good stir fry dishes all authentic like. I really should make it for nick one of these nights! We were able to watch the lady cook in her outdoor kitchen and show us all the tricks. I of course have mosquito bites up and down my legs because I always get bit! Other than that it was pretty fun!
On Friday I went with some friends to the outlet malls in San Marcos. I love shopping! I got one pair of bermuda shorts and a pair of capris because I can no longer wear pants. It is very very hot and humid! I also got a really cute Williams and Sonoma apron! I have been searching for a cute apron for a while now so I was excited to see they had their summer ones on sale!
Over the weekend we had lots of fun with friends! Movies and games combined with food is always a hit. We made some really good chocolate heath bar ice cream in our ice cream maker and have already gotten the ingrediants to do it again!
That brings us to this week- yesterday I finally got my package in the mail of all my products I ordered from Melaleuca and I am very excited to start using all of them!
Tonight I will be going to Chester's Hamburgers with some girls from the ward. Their sign says they have the best burgers in sa so I am going to try it out and see!

I sucked it up and went to see Star Trek too, even though I was proud of my streak of not seeing any .... but alas it was - should I say it - GREAT!!

I grew up on Melaleuca - my mom is a huge fanatic - my favorites are the vanilla lip balm, the Renew lotion, the mint and citrus hand soaps, the tooth polish, and surprisingly the classic gold bar. I've used this stuff since I was little, and now I have it (and extras) on hand at all times. My mom has tons of every product in the spare bedroom at home - which has become my Melaleuca "store" whenever I visit home! I used to roll my eyes at her craziness of Melaleuca growing up - but now I don't know what I'd do without it.
